Description
Presents an overview of emergency medical services (EMS) system design. Examines the history of EMS service delivery by comparing service models, system development and implementation, as well as their impact on emergency prehospital health care delivery, including current trends focused on costs associated with service delivery, standards of cover, and service plan development.
